“PRAYAS” is now transformed into an educational outreach programme of Department of Electronics, P. V. Polytechnic. It is meant for fostering innovation through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) skill development. This is a unique programme initiated by us to develop 21st century skills among students.
Objectives of “Prayas” :
● To promote innovation and entrepreneurship.
● To develop STEAM skills among students.
● To provide an arena for students to test their engineering skills.
It will showcase working models of Electronic Projects made by polytechnic students across the Mumbai region and STEAM based projects made by schools/ITI students.
Under the initiative “Prayas” , department will arrange year-long STEAM activities such as seminar/workshops on such as “Learn to INNOVATE using BBC Micro:Bit Coding” for school students.
We invite all the school and polytechnic students to take part in the competitions, and workshops to be organised during the festival on 17 and 18th January 2019.
